    The tyre thread .

Has anyone had experience with Avon tyres. I was looking at them some bits on other sites say they have good life. Basically I want a tyre that will last some miles as I do use it for work. I've been reccomemded a duel compound avon.

    Buckled wheel advice

Evening chaps I would appreciate some opinions on if my other halfs scooter requires a new front wheel. I've tried to take a pic but it's not to clear. Basically the rim edge has a slight dent in it but the main wheel itself has no damage. There is no problem with the tyre I.e no bulges and I've...

What Do You Think My MT Is Worth?

I bought my mt abs used at a dealer for 6k with 3k on the clock so 5k trade in seems about right.

    Insurance cost?

Glad I left London still remember paying £700 for an 09 fz6. Still not massively happy just paid 379 today for the year that's in a gu12 postcode driveway parked with 10 years no claims. All insurance companies still giving the bs of my age (27) makes my high risk.

    Navigation

Does anyone know of a generic phone mount (that would hold a sony z1) and that would hold the phone secure to prevent a thieving sod from robbing it from a quick grab in traffic?

    Who's the oldest?

Why can't the eu do the same for older riders age does not mean you are more capable of hander long a powerful bike. That's why I liked the 2 year restriction that way you learn to ride safely (in theory) then if you do go to a bigger bike you have more respect (in theory) and take a sensible...

Insurance companies worth talking to (UK)

Sorry but the outlook in London is bleak for all insurance. I used to live in w9 which is an f* as well so I know your pain. When you say you have problems with yamaha have you been using the hammersmith dealer by any chance.

    Rear Carrier

My givi box is a need as I has to carry stuff between my work sites plus if I go out somewhere for the day I have a place to store the helmet and stuff. I does make the the bike wheelie even easier as well.

Insurance companies worth talking to (UK)

When I lived in London my insurance for the old fz6 09 plate they wanted £700 and I may be 27 but I have 10 years no claims. For the mt 09 they want over 1300. Even if it was garaged it would only reduce the price by 150. Thankfully last month I moved out of London and the insurance for the mt...

    Collecting my mt09 soon

Yay finally collected the bike last week and very much enjoying it. Mine has a givi back box on it which seems to make the bike wheelie even easier. Although looking at the tyres it seems the rear will need replacing in a couple of months. I've got a Dunlop tyre on it surely it should last...
