MT09 AL'S
I had this plate fitted to my MT09 and then my MT09 Tracer, it was ideal as my name is Alan and people have always called me Al. I am trading the Tracer in against a new Super Tenere. I can provide a plate for either the MT09 or the Tracer, example above. I will of course provide all...
Dug,
Will be taking the bike in to the dealers next week. Sadly the dealer Ian Bell of Ian Bell Motorcycles was killed at the TT this year so it has been a tough time for all concerned. I count myself as a friend of Ian's and with two other bikes in the garage have stayed away as it is a genuine...
Having problems with the throttle on my Tracer, closed throttle yesterday it was ticking over at 4000rpm, nearly crashed last Friday on a slow right hander after I braked from about 80mph, thought I was just being ham fisted with the throttle, but after over 40 years experience I am not ham...
Fluke's right the temptation with the Airhawk is to over inflate it which would sit you really high and completely remote from the bike.
I think most people do this initially and it puts them off using the Airhawk.
I'm taking my Tracer seat to Saddlecraft in South Shields to have it reworked...

I treated myself to a BMW R Nine T for Christmas, not parting with the Tracer or the Super 10 mind. It's going to be my sunny Sunday afternoon bike if we ever get any.
I fitted one to my MT09 and followed the instruction, glued and clamped it. After my first ride out with it fitted it was hanging on, only just. I drilled it and fixed it with the plastic rivets that all the bike manufacturers use to secure panels. Worked well, very secure and you can hardly see...
It's the crossplane R1 engine, I rode one a while back when my MT09 was in for a service and it was incredible.
I have just traded my MT09 in for a Tracer, however I will be knocking on Ian Bell's door as soon as the demo comes in
I find the seat reasonably comfortable on the Super 10 and when I do need a break I find it very easy to ride standing up, don't feel very comfortable standing up on the Tracer. I only fell the weight of the Super 10 when I am pulling it out of the garage. When I park it up I am always careful...
