New to an MT09... had a bandit before
Bought a 15 plate MT09 NON-ABS done 1300 miles
I have now clocked up to 2900
Tyres seem ok brakes in good condition
The 1st time i braked hard on the front end it juddered on the front wheel....
I thought it may be the ABS but looking at my mates with ABS it deffo doesn't have it

Few weeks later brake at around 70-30mph still juddered
did pull hard but not enough to lock on
Is this normal ?
Or what should i be looking at replacing at 2900 miles ?

As above, warped disc or loose calliper bolts or incorrectly fitted pads?

Might be a long shot, but are the disc bobbins free to turn? If there's rust in there, one or two could be seized which will cause 'judder' under braking too.
Dead easy to sort if they are though.

Were you braking so hard that the front suspension was at its limits ? Its notoriously softly sprung at the front. Otherwise as said mayby a warped disc. Check the pistons move freely in the calipers. youll have to take them off to check properly. Does the brake lever "pulse" as the brakes apply. Do you need to pump the brake at all ? All would point to warped disc possibly from a seized piston in the caliper.
