Depends on what your mens by whiney? My engine sounds completely different from cold to hot but it's very hard to describe the sound actually. Been in the engine since I got it so all good I presume. Does it go away when you pull in the clutch?
Sorry only getting back now, been away from the laptop for a few days. Funny enough, I went to the dealers that day to have the adjuster blocks done and he couldn't fit me in when i came up! Gave me the blocks myself to keep and said to come back another time and he would do them then and same...
It's the bike over the bus any day of the week. To be honest I love the MT and did a lot of research before buying it. I knew the issues I was up against and I'm happy that the warranty will sort it all out. I don't think any other bike came put a smile on my face like the MT can! Make's the...
WD40 will stop the white tarnishing from turning to full on corrosion. Toothbrush and and couple of applications will remove it all if you get it quick enough.
Not the best picture I must admit but it was pitch dark when i took them. Also I just washed the bike so the rusty bit at the weld just looks like dark dirt as it's wet. You can see where it's rusting though, It's bright orange rust when it's dry. Warranty time!!!
Been there and done that myself. Best advice I can give you is get back in the saddle straight away and don't let anything linger in the mind about it. The longer you leave it the worse is gets.
I'll try take some tomorrow. Actually going into the dealer to replace the soft tensioner blocks. They ordered them under warranty for me. I'll will have a chat about the shock with them too while I'm in there. I'll post a few pic after that.
I change the mode all the time while riding but this has never happened to me thank god. I'd probably fill my trousers with brown goo! I find the buttons a bit awkward alright especially the horn, forever hitting the indicators when going for the horn.
It's the MT or the bus for me which really only means the MT haha. I thought the acf50 would do it for the winter at least but I guess it needs a few coats during the salty road season to keep everything sorted on it. Thankfully the WD40 took most if not all of it off so I'm happy with that. I'm...
Yep near enough every day. I had it treated with acf50 prior to the winter. There was a lot of salt in fairness on the road this year but still I didn't expect to see it happen so quickly. there was nothing on it in December. Id say it all happened over the space of two months really. Bit...
So I gave the bike a good detailing during the week and i nearly fell over when i saw the rear shock with rust starting to form in the weld! The bike is only 10 months old. I know yamaha will sort it out under warranty but the question i have is do they replace it with the same shock again or...
