Very disappointed here. I'm thinking of cutting my losses and selling it at the first opportunity.

Personally I find the springs to be adequate (I'm 97kg), but the damping (rebound only) it's definitely sub-par. For daily commuting and weekend runabouts the stock suspension will suffice. For spirited riding, or track days, you'll need to spend some money.

Yeah, same here. I went and checked the cap which seems OK but noticed the coolant level was at the low mark.

Don't wait, just go ahead and snug the tensioner up a little.

I'm only telling you that riding, or slipping, the clutch will lead to premature wear, not what other people are doing. You go-ahead and do what you need to, I'm merely giving you something, albeit unsolicited, to consider.

Have you taken the slack out of the throttle cable? You're "riding the clutch" and that could lead to premature wear.

There isn't much steel on these bikes so you'll see more Aluminium oxide than rust.

Same symptoms as I had at about the same distance. Tighten the cct, you'll hear it improve. If the noise comes back your cct has loosened and should be replaced.

I wouldn't use a kitchen paper towel, as there's a lot of coarse wood pulp in it. It scratches the soft paint dontcha know.
