Could you not use the underside of the chain guard to fix the oil pipe, or is there not enough clearance?

I've got one. Great piece of kit except on the MT09, the foot peg is so close to the centre support , you are unable to adjust it to lift evenly. The back wheel comes way off the floor, but the front wheel only just clears. If you have a smooth garage floor, they are sleazy to move around...

If your accelerating hard enough, the front wheels off the ground, so no shake. Go faster !!!

Do it all the time, tho i must say , it's so much easier on my Thundercats as the gearbox is a peach. Both up and down the box, sounds just like iv'e got a quick shifter. Even do it in the works van.

Happened to me while overtaking at 70 mph +. Bike turned itself off but i managed to get back to the side safely. Took me a while to figure out what the problem was, so i always make sure it,s fully turned on now.

The O2 eliminator is not designed to stop the snatchy throttle, just to even out the fi at low throttle stop it being so jerky: i.e.at speeds of up to thirtyish.

Same here. Can't keep the dam front wheel on the ground now, so i don't need any extra weight on the back !!!

Try looking on the Skidmarx site. Think they do fibreglass and carbon.

Skidmarx have just brought out a hugger for the MT. Looks a bit bigger than whats around at the moment. Yamaha MT-09 - Rear Huggger (GRP) - They also have a Carbon fibre one Yamaha MT-09 - Rear Hugger (C/F) -

I use the side stand for turning the bike in a confined space (leaning the bike onto the stand and swivelling it round) and have had no problems, so your weight should be no problem.

Thanks for the info. Was wondering what the handling was like with narrower bars , if anybody has them.

Thinking of changing my handlebars, thought that maybe slightly narrower and a touch further forward might fit the bill. Anyone got any experience or suggestions ?
