That looks very like the Air Hawk (without a cover) - but a fifth of the price so gotta be worth a try
I've had an Air Hawk for years and used it on FJR and BMW tourers so I've been spoilt for original seats - far too hard for me now.
There's always a little bit of "drag" in a motorbike gearbox - and often in a car gearbox too for that matter.
There's usually no power in it so if you wedge the back wheel with something under the tyre, or simply hold the wheel (carefully) it will stop it turning.
Obviously you can't do it all...
IIRC when you log in there is a box somewhere that says "stay logged in for...." with the option of 10 min/ 20 min / 30 min etc etc - or forever.
I THINK you need cookies enabled for it to work though cos when I re-boot the laptop (which is set to clear cookies) I have to log in again
IGNORE...
IIRC sag is normally measured from one point on the bike to another so it's not affected by the tyres flattening under the riders weight.
Also, the starting point for measurements is with the suspension fully extended so you need to lift the weight off the wheels for the extended length
There's...
Hi and welcome.
I'm in Birkenhead - so not so far away.
Been thinking about changing the MT for a Tracer but never seem to be able to find the time to try one.
Perhaps Autumn will be a bit quieter at work and I'll get a trip to Bill Smiths
How big a job is it to fit the quick shifter ?
Always fancied one but been put off by the complexity of fitting what, for me, would be a toy as I'm not the quickest of riders so it's not going to make me into a Rossi or Lorenzo.
Me too.
And I've recently found I can go down the box when coasting
I figure that as long as it's smooth, with no crunching, it's not doing any harm and it concentrates the mind on riding smoothly
