I just used a switch I had in my tool box, but Jaycar have a good selection of switches
This one will do the job..
I mounted it in the compartment in front of the battery, and used velco pads to secure the garage remote fob

I'm never keen on butchering a wiring harness for no reason, why don't you just use a push button switch soldered in the the remote contact and mount the switch in the compartment under the seat with velco ?

I'm looking to get my ECU re flashed and just looking for some input from anyone who has had it done, I beleive the two main contenders are ECU west and extreme creations, any info would be great guys, there also seem to be a great price difference between the two. Thanks guys.

I've just bought a MT-09 and have the PCV, quickshifter and AkroTitanium all on order, once it all arrives it will be a trip to Chain Reaction for a dyno tune, I`ll let you know what the results are.. but from what I hear the gains are awesome.
