ok, tested the Oxford grips with Yamaha oem wiring, it worked BUT the grips didn't get hot enough even on full, guess the oem grips need less power, might try R&G grips next [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

any aftermarket grips should work with the Yamaha wiring, you just need Yamaha type C connectors, available on ebay. I did the same mod on my Hyperstrada, grips worked off the Ducati wiring and controlled by the start button. didn't have time today but will try to get it done tomorrow Sent...

cautionary note: if you buy a spare exhaust to modify make sure it's the correct one. Tracer and MT09 exhaust look the same but the shroud and shroud mounts are different. The MT09 exhaust fouls against the center stand on the Tracer but the Tracer exhaust will fit straight onto an MT09. a...
