Ok so I just noticed that the mt has a single piece exhaust.
Do if we wanna install a new can only
(no downpipes)
We will need to cut the old can off,
Only thing is, the place that would be beat to cut is also the home of the lambda sensor ???
What the hell
1- do aftermarket cans come with a threaded hole to re-insert the O2 sensor
2- don't really like the idea of blanking the O2 sensor off, it's there for a reason
3- are we meant to relocate the lambda sensor ????

Give me some ideas guys

Hi Scotscoot,

You are correct the MT09's exhaust is all one piece.

Therefore you would need to replace the whole system if you wanted a different exhaust.
All the exhaust currently available are full systems with the exception of Arrow as they sell all their can options seperatly but they are to fit to the Arrow headers.
All the replacement systems that I have seen have the threaded hole for the lambda sensor.
I certainly would not be taking a hacksaw to the standard system.

Hope this is some help.

Cheers daps.

Or you can get one of my exhaust kit. All you need to do if cut your downpipe off the exhaust and slip this kit over... Voila!

Much cheaper and just as good. I have a fuel controller too available.
