Can anyone give me an idea of how to take up some slack on the throttle free play?
I'd like to take it up a bit It's getting a bit "wooly"
Cheers

Hi Mate, if you mean the cable slack, there is an adjuster in the cable about 10cm from the throttle grip. Its got a rubber gaiter around it, just adjust that 'till you're happy! Side to side movement of the throttle grip can be helped by removing and re-glueing the grip a bit further along the shaft (toward the switches)

This really makes a difference. I've moved the grip and taken out the play.

Did it today, really teally easy once you know where to look!!

I checked the handbook & set it to 1mm free play as per spec.

Bloody thing was around 10mm play from dealers, I swear!

Even A mode now feels so much sharper hahah!

Follow the cable from the throttle and you'll find the adjuster about 10cm along covered with a rubber boot. Pull the boot back towards the throttle to expose the adjuster. I would move your grip along also to take out some of the side to side play. If you do this along with suspension adjust and tyre pressures it really feels like a different bike to ride. Much better
