I had my Yamaha grips installed before delivery and the dealer did not use the optional harness. Mine are wired direct to the battery and can use the built-in timer to switch them off once stopped (if I forget).
I am using one of the standard AUX outlets for LED driving lights (to be seen rather...
I bought a left-over 2017 MT-09 in February 2018 at a very good price at the time - £7K delivered to the door - and have no regrets. Colin Appleyard were good to deal with - and I assume the other major discounters would be as well.
The MT-09 is a good seller for Yamaha, but it is nowhere near...
Ripgroove, if we all tried on in the local store and bought from Amazon there will be no more local stores left. Might I suggest you show the store manager the Amazon deal and ask how close they can price-match? If they can do nothing at all to match, then you have some justification for taking...
Further to JohnD's reply above, I can add that I showed your picture to a technical support guy who works for Yamaha GB at the NEC Bike show today. He said the Green and Yellow wires were usually associated with Lighting and the brown was an earth.

I have now fitted just about the biggest screen I could find, a "universal" Givi two-part AF49 Airflow (+D45 fitting kit), apart from...
Interphone are one of the big 3 in bike intercoms - slightly behind Sena and Cardo. If you are planning to talk to your mates, then it is a good idea to buy into the same brand as them.
I watched the guy from Elite Seat Covering in West Sussex work on my seat. Believe me, there is very little padding on the standard seat! The chap chopped an inch off the standard foam (rider only for me) and then added two inches of memory foam which is softer. It has not altered the overall...
The Yamaha rear rack is much nicer than any of the competition. It's a beautiful casting rather than the pipework of the others. The Yamaha 50 litre box fits straight on, but you could mount a Givi Adaptor plate I assume. I don't have a tail tidy.
+1 on the heated gloves. With heated grips there is no heat for the little finger and the end of the thumb - this is solved with heated gloves. Gloves can be moved from bike to bike as well.
All the brands are good - Gerbing, Keis, Ventureheat etc.
A heated jacket in combination with gloves is...
