Since 2017 model the fork doesn't need to be upgraded for road use.
The origin preload is bad in the user manual.

The 2A circuit you're using (after replacing the fuse by a 5A) is not made for this, the cables are to small.
There is a special circuit allready protected by a 5 A fuse.
I've the same trouble IF the bike stands over rain a long time.
So if I've a doubt about weather I put something to protect starter switch.
And to reset the ECU error's code I also use the Ebay device. (link given)
Did you have your front tyre changed or wheel removed ?
There are 2 ways to install the sensor and one is bad. (the sensor is to far from the rotor and you may have this issue)

The wires are the same than the 5A circuits.
Yamaha has reduced the power to 2A due to alternator limit.
On my bike I've changed it to a 3A for many years (6 if I add my 2 MT09) to plug my heating grips.

It's quite easy to adapt a Magura model.
The best is to contact them, they will build the exact lenght.
