Recall Notice - Lower Handlebar Holders.

There's more details in this thread and photos of what the problem is, which is basically the studs that hold the lower handle bar risers / clamps can come loose and fall out leading to loss of steering. http://mt09.motorcycle-talk.com/forum/mt-09-tracer-technical/4119-recall-mt09-tracer.html

    Dodgy Fuel guage sender

Same with mine takes miles and miles before it goes down on the gauge, Tend to get 175 miles before the reserve flashes. If going on a long journey would use one trip meter for petrol and the second trip meter for actual journey mileage.

    Newbie

Welcome, I bought the tracer variant because the way it handles and the larger fuel tank than the naked mt-09, a great bike easy to handle and goes around bends easy.

    Shad Cases

Top box is a Kappa / Give 48N, panniers are the Shad 36, the white marks on the side rail is polish as they panniers where a tight fit. The panniers came with a spare lock which I assume is so that you can change a shad top box to use the same key as the panniers.

    Shad Cases

Just fitted some, sods law they were not that cheap when I ordered mine. They are a good strong case, when you come to fit the brackets on it's easier if you loosen the foot peg hangers as well, though these on mine were loctited on.

    Normal unleaded or premium unleaded

Many years ago I used to only use one super market petrol as it was on my door step. I ended up breaking down with water in the petrol tank. Never used that supermarket for fuel since, with the bikes I mainly use branded stations, one car however did not like shell petrol as it always pinked...
