Hi All,
I fired up my MT09 this afternoon, not used for a few weeks. Let it warm up, ran it through the gears slowly as have done many times before whilst on the center stand (never had a problem). It flashed up with a 69 error code. This re-appears on the display when turning the bike off.

Is this anything I should be worried about and how on earth can I clear it without workshop tools?

It looks like the same thing I did on my Tracer 900, the back wheel is being driven through the gears whilst the front wheel is stationary

You will need a diagnostic tool to clear it

Yeah I did look, but it seems they only support 2016-on models 😔

If you have an older model i think you can delete the error using the menu on the clocks

As it happens, i rode off and it resolved itself. However, I did get hold of an ODBII cable and scanner but it doesn't want to recognize the ECU in this bike.

As it was eluded too on a previous post I managed to access the diags mode on this bike.
Does anyone know what all the read outs mean?
