Reading on another thread about people owning quite lively bikes before going onto the MT09....a friend of mine traded in a GSX 1000, I traded in my Suzuki GSR750, just wandering what other bikes came before the switch to the MT09...?

The last bike I bought before the MT was a Honda Pan European, I still have it, and the one before that too and the one before that and the one before that, urrmm actually there is currently 8 bikes in the crabstick stable, one is my son's 125 traily thing , and the XT 660 will be his when he passes his test.

(Apologies-Misscrabstick, Slightly off topic but have you had the re-mapping yet....I am aware that you have a G2 throttle tamer. Please see mapping updates thread for feedback. It may be of interest to you)
I am going to give them a call on Monday and sort the appointment out to get mine done, been super busy this week, just got back from the Dorset Steam fair today.

Feeling very old..... My last bike was a yam TZR250, sold it in 1994 to get a house... Got the bike itch again in 2013..... Held back, kept scratching.... Then test ride 07 & 09... Job done, 09 all the way.. Luv it.

First bike, Suzuki RG125 Lucky Strike Grafix...

Looks like the MT09 is having the same effect that the Yamaha RD350LC had back in the 80's.....Cult classic. Wonder if this is the way the MT09 will be viewed in twenty years time?

690 Duke ( 2 months) not enough power
Tuono 2 years
Hayabusa (streetfighter)

Still got the Hayabusa.

I'm keen to have a look at the GSR1000, or GSX1000S or whatever it is they are calling it.
The K5 motor was a gem in the GSXR1000 I had.

The MT09 is a great bike it ticks a lot of boxes.
I got rid of the GSXR because it was going to kill me or my licence, I though go naked it'll be slower and more comfy, Tuono.
Spent a small fortune on the Tunono making it the bike it should have been but it never got me in 100% ........but that note....mmmmmmmusic.
