I replaced mine with sintered the best £36 I spent, I found the original pads (2016 mt09) totally rubbish. I still wouldn't say they were the best brakes I've used.

Have a look at the video, it's pretty easy to do, looks as though it's to much grease. You could tell the difference from when he started to finish. Might be worth watching and then get onto dealer. Seems a common problem, not just with the 09

I'll be interested in this as I'm thinking of doing my 2016 standard 09, have looked MT-09 2013-2016 - JHS RACING STORE I think they said something like £180 for fitting to loose forks, and £60ish for forks in situ, and the rear shock, so something like £1300 all told. I'm thinking of getting it...

Have you a link for the fork thingys, as I hate my gold ones? Or is that the standard finish on 2017 model?

Regarding number 3, have a look here YouTube never done it, but looks easy enough. This bloke has just got his bike, and has done a shed load of YouTubes, all pretty good. Just watched his brake one, I thought my MT's brakes were crap, so for £35, I think I'll change the pads :)

I got mine from here Shad Yamaha MT-09 Comfort Seat Replacement Seat SHY0M9300 £204.32, took a couple of days, it's better than the orginal thats for sure, but I still tend to sit on the tank.
