Due to the high torque setting for the nut a spanner wouldn't be much good. You need a breaker bar. I carry a socket with me and hope to find a friendly soul , in the case of emergencies.
Mike, not sure whether you want the bike more upright or more leaned. My suspension is slightly lowered so bike stands more upright. I've always mounted by stepping onto the peg whilst still on sidestand. Is that an option for you?
I've always had problems with leg length. At 36" waist and 28/29" inside length I found that most 30" legs are ok when you try them in the riding position. Stood up they fall and gather a bit on the bridge of your foot , but not in a daft way. If you have an old pair try taking them, as an...
So you lifted the tank. Time to check everything under there. The breather tubes, pump connections, injector plugs. Check the airbox is seated properly on the air intake ports and clamped. Does the pump prime each time you turn the ignition on ?
How old is the bike? Any silt in the tank that...
just a thought. If like me you have the clutch biting with the lever close to the bar, check your gloves aren't bunching on your hand causing extra pressure on the lever.
I've not used the stop and go kit, but I use the 'sticky string' kits on my car and my bike. The hardest part of using the kit is getting the bike on the main stand with a flat tyre. My kits were £6 each from ebay several years ago. I carry a small foot pump. Only recently bought and electric...
I've got one fitted to my 2016. Spacers should come with mount and are needed to hold the plate off the screen mounting.
Due to vibration , the ball ( when loaded ) nut is prone to loosen and let your satnav swing low. I epoxy'd mine and had no more problems.
Sorry can't make any measurements...
I think there's a few of us around that keep the forums ticking over. Perhaps we'll have to keep the content up to increase traffic?

I tried the Avon Trailrider tyres . They were steady enough on rough ground, but the majority of my riding was on the road so switched to Avon Spirit ST which I find excellent.
I through out the OEM power socket as they're generally useless when travelling. Plugs vibrate out. Wired in a 1&2 amp USB charger. That works well with the phone etc. Have a look for power sockets used for marine use. They have plugs with a screw collar and are waterproof.
Toppie - point duly noted. I've had a number of notes stating similar issues. I think I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep that area clean.
I've recorded the leak to show at my next service in a few weeks so I can keep yam aware.
Tyres are designed to run at certain pressures. The pressure of the air inside maintains the correct profile and therefore maintains the correct handling of the bike. Running a tyre at lower pressure will cause it to heat up , more than it should , and the profile will be deformed.
As the mt09...
