I've had two MT-09s and both came with Bridgestone tyres which covered 4.500 miles before needing to be changed. On the advice of another biker I changed to Michelin pr4s and have done over 10,000 miles before having to change them

I have used the same fitting kit on a 2015 mt-09 model and my current 2017 mt-09 model so they fit all years

I've had two 09s and both came with Bridgestones they are a good quality tyre but I found that after 4 thousand miles they needed replacing I now run Michelin PR4s as they wear better than Bridgestones

i put the michelin 4s on at the last service i dont find any difference in handling but the wearability is far better than the bridgestones fitted as original equipment.
