    2017 number plate hanger.

Another question related to the 2017 version. Would be good if the new 2017 had its own section on this forum. But here is my question on Yamaha website it shows the bike with a number plate up by the rear light. But nothing listed about it or even a Part number. So dose anyone know if it's...

Hello everyone my name is Gary and I have just brought a 2017 mt09. Before buying the MT09 I was riding a Mt10. So far I have only done a few miles on the Mt09 but already it's putting a smile on my face. After picking up the bike I have already done a few things. Had ecu test flashes with...

    Tyres

Been away from bikes for a while (6yrs) anyway got myself an MT09 in October, mine came with Dunlop sport max on it and I've not had any issues but not overly convinced with wet weather performance. What have people used ? My favorites in the past were a Bridgestone 010 front 020 rear but...

    Which rear hugger?

Picked up my tracer on the weekend and after not many miles at all the rear shock is covered in salt and much due to there being a hole right in the middle of the rear hugger, so easy part is just to fill it in but wondering if anyone has fitted a longer, better rear hugger. Cheers Tom

    Cleaned chain today

Nothing strange about cleaning the chain. I had a good go at it today removed the front sprocket cover for the first time since I owned the bike. I run with a Tutoro oiler which is a great bit of kit.I was amazed though at the amount of oily residue around the front sprocket and engine casings...

    190/50 section rear tyre

I happen to have a new 190/50 Dunlop Roadsmart 2, which I got for another bike that I've since got rid of, and I was wondering if it might fit the MT-09. Looking at the OEM Dunlop 214 180/55 rear tyre there doesn't seem to be a lot of clearance to fit a wider one, so initially I thought...

    Why is it..

..that punctures never happen on worn out tyres? Just 200 miles on the bike and a flat rear tyre. Bugger. That's £100 I could have done without spending. Still, back on the road now. Having the billet chain adjusters fitted made changing the rear wheel much easier.

    Rear hanger/footpeg

Hi all, Recently parted with my MT09 and now have an MT10. I'm trying to get hold of a Tracer rear left hanger for the footpeg. The hangers on the back of the MT10 mean you have to be a dwarf to fit on it. The Tracer ones will fit and are longer than the standard 09 ones. I managed to find the...
