Hi all.
I have a Tracer with a topbox and sidecases. In a month I'll be driving a longer trip with the panniers fully loaded and with a passenger. So far I've tightended the front suspension preload and rebound a bit, and adjusted the rebound on the rear shock. The settings are nice enough now...
well after enjoying last weeks use of a lovely R1 , i was convinced i must have one . yet , tonight , with a new rear bridgestone , softened suspension , i had a brilliant time whizzing around norfolk , trying to avoid all the road chip crap they seem to putting everywhere, you know the stuff ...
Spent a bit of time Saturday while it was raining outside cutting out the useless plastic ridge to open up the underseat storage for the disc lock & making a rear mud flap to help protect the rear shock from some of the road crud.
Just fitted my factory rear rack with the intention of fitting a universal mount and top box only to find yamaha says it is not designed to take a top box anybody using one with a box and any issues cheers.
Is this occurring, as it does on the MT-09?
I refer to the case, where you have the bike out in the rain, and the spray from the rear wheel ends up and giving you a very wet experience on your bum! :-)
Is that sorted with the bigger rear of the Tracer?
Hey Guys,
I would really like to turn off the ABS on the rear wheel, I personally just like sliding around supermoto style a bit. Do you think it is possible?

Hello,
I've been lurking around for some time now and thought I should register.
The forum has been great for mod ideas and seeing what other people have done in particular opinions on different products. I found this site simply by googling.
I have owned my matte grey MT-09 for almost a year...
Just interested to hear how you folks clean the rear wheel.
I tend to use a bit of petrol then polish off with Autoglym which brings the wheel up fine.
Cheers
Tony
