Hello all,
What petrol do you use with your MT09?
Usually I do Premium Unleaded (95 RON). I do have noticed that when the bike sits few days in the garage and the tank is say half full when I start the bike and go there are sputters, judders and all kinds of unpleasantries.
Than when I fill...

I found this scratch on my tank, I have no idea how it got there I noticed it after I had it parked outside a coffee shop for 30 mins not sure what caused it. Since it's pretty deep i was thinking i could perhaps cover it up with a sticker however i'm not sure what i should place in that...
I'm looking to get a tank pad for my blue 2017 MT09. I don't want the pad to cover any of the graphic paintwork on the tank, so it would have to be quite narrow at the top. Anyone got something or seem something like this?
Returning from a trip to the Cat & Fiddle, my mates were signalling they needed fuel. A quick glance at my fuel guage told me I still had a full tank. FULL TANK? After 130 miles? Something wasn't right. Pulling into to the nearest petrol station a vigorous shake of the bike got the guage to drop...

I got myself a charging hub to fit in my Givi tank lock tank bag but the existing cable port is in the wrong position so I made a new one. So on full days out or weekends away I can now charge mobile, GoPro, tablet on the go, in fact five items can be plugged in.
Been having a few issues with my zip on my jacket catching my tank. So after a good search around decided on one of these.......
£20 and I think it suits the bike very well. Colours are spot on.
I am in the process of selling my KTM 950A and fancy something smaller and nimbler on which to pass the rest of my motoring days. My son has an MT07 and I fancy the MT09. I do not wish to replace one big trail bike with the Tracer.
However the 14 litre fuel tank of the MT09 I see as a...

I have just bolted on my Yamaha sat nav mount, wired in my Tom Tom Rider dock and bolted it to the mount in preparation for this years trip to the TT and general finding out where the f%ck I'm going.
When I'm out and about I often use a tank bag - in my case I use a Givi tank lock system...

What tank protection do people have? I usually have a Baglux harness on my bikes, but the quality of the zips in their small bags is poor, so I've decided to get the smallest tank bag from SW-Motech. I don't want to scratch my petrol tank, though.
