As the title says i just did the 10.000km service in my MT..
After long discusion with my "oil guy" i bought ELF MotoTech 10w50 again. The reason is that for 5000km i had smooth and quite changes in gearbox, stable engine temperatures and when it came out was silky and oily a lot when i touch it. Also it has the half price of Bel Ray EXS which i had in my mind when i went there..
I know the shop for 30 years.. before 5000km he sold me 3 liters of oil for 20 euros, today it costs me 18 !!! (you have to know that as i saw in internet this oil cost 5,9 pounds per liter in UK as "special offer" as here).
It is best value for money and for that i surrely recomend it.
The dealers mechanic change the oil, oli filter and gasket and he did ssyncronization to the 3 bodies of injection. I saw that the 1st cylinder's flap was giving obvously lower mix than 2nd and 3rd.. the mechanic did an exactly equal syncronization without to do gas-analyzation but there wash't any care for emissions for now..
The result is that the engine is now running more smoothly in low rpm, the idle speed is stack at 1.100 (i suppose) and steady. Never before has so good rythm..
I forgot to ask him check the CO by panel so i really don't know were about is my bike yet..
I was ride it in std and i feel that engine is running more progressive now.
I'm still thinking about Yamaha's flash.. although had the opportunity today to did it i wash't decice to proceed before i ride one updated bike myself.
The mechanic insists that after dealer's remap the 09 coming closer to 07 at low rpm...
They cost me 82 euros (75work&tax, 7oilfilter&gasket) and explaind that yamaha cost 2,1 hours X 36 euros each for 10K service on MT-09.
Expensive or not the guy has did all the recalls, change lights, dna filter at the early past at no cost. So, it seems to be fair to me.
Next oil change at 15.000km, service at 20.000km is the same as 10K, plus new spark-plugs.
Suspension will be fixed in time by a specialist. For now is OK...causes to my new michelins pr4
