Hey folks,

Wanting your thoughts on the ABS and whether you think it is overly intrusive?

I'm just getting to know my Tracer as I have only had it for 2 weeks (+\- 600miles). I went on a 'spirited' ride the other evening and coming up to a right angle corner I braked progressively but the ABS kicked in and scared the sh*t out of me. I'm more used to riding bikes without ABS so I know to never grab a handful. I felt that because the ABS kicked in so early it meant my braking distance was longer. It resulted in me tipping the bike into the corner at a slightly higher speed than I normally would. It all worked out fine as the Tracer loves corners but it was a rather clenching moment. Anyone had similar experiences?

Cheers,
Andrew

Had my Tracer a year, done 4,000 miles and although I can get the back ABS to kick in easily, never felt the front ABS in even when braking fairly hard.
