I see there are three different version available for MT-09 at Yamaha webpage but what are the differences?
Is it just a difference in power or do they sound different as well?
Number 1 and 2 looks almost identical and number 3 got this carbon look at the top.

1. Full System with Titanium Muffler

The main difference between 1 and 2 is that system 2 has three fewer assembly joints to leak :)

1 is original one from Yamaha.
2 is later model with one piece header, as said ^^^^
3 is new type for 2017 bike.

all should fit though.

Unless you fit the optional cat, which will make it quieter.

The 3rd option does not have a removable baffle, or so it seems. I've just ordered a 2017 MT09 and will be going for option 2.

I have just had confirmation from Yamaha that the new 2017 akro does not have a removable baffle however, they are all the same fitment. so I will be choosing the older version with removable baffle.

Looks about right - the schematic on the Akrapovic website shows there is no removable baffle..... and it's over a grand!!!!! The carbon is, of course, way better looking.
