I find the stock brakes are excellent but the forks are so soft you can't use them to the full. Fix your forks first and then try your brakes for size.

Same here. I went with a biger master (16mm - FZ8) and 320mm EBC rotors & Pro pads. More braking power & better feel. Front suspension set-up is also very important.

Already on with that and at 130mph I will stop atleast 50feet shorter than your stock brakes with less effort and more feel:cool:

I can't hold on at 130, so it's unlikely to happen.

Yes I was looking at the 320mm ebc rotors that will be on the shopping list once I have sorted the handling problems which will be very soon

What problems?

I'm 175 lbs w/o gear...

.90 kg/mm spring
GP piston kit with 7W oil
Oil level: 130mm

That fixed the front end for me...

Rear I use the ZX10 shock

I too have the GP Suspension kit. Holy wow, what a difference. I just raised the oil level to 130mm today, based on your setting. I'll see how it affects brake dive next time I get a chance to ride.

There is no need to spend any more on the front than this.
