I just wanted to add that I found I was getting the same sensor fault code coming up on the control unit at the end of last year. I must add that the bike was outside under a bike cover which helped kill the battery over winter. So after charging and running the bike I kept getting the same fault. Bought a new battery & After fault finding I've traced it to the starter switch sticking due to the lack of lubricant in the internal switch mechanism (spring sticking). It was basically holding onto the ignition and draining the battery. Essentially draining and losing voltage which stops the bike starting. Hope this helps
