Despite being a 66 year old I still like to ride and I hope tastefully bling things up a bit. I hope its not too much.

Does my bum look too big in this?

Nice mods.

Question...are you off to Hogwarts with that trunk on the back?

Looks massive, how many litres?

Thanks. The bars are Fehling and the lights are Givi Trekkers but I changed the standard halogen bulbs for PIAAs'. Yes they are Powerboronze extenders.

Off to Hogwarts next term but only for a short spell. Its a 46ltr box which will take my flip lid and other bits.

How do you rate the Fehling bars? I've got my eye on the Touratech crash bars but i'm waiting to hear back what their ridiculous lead time will be.

Yeh they were ok. I just couldn't work out which spacers to put where, so I just tried to make them look right.

Decided on the Givi bars in the end to replace my evotech bungs. Read some good reports on other forums about the level of protection they give.

Still prefer the look of the touratech bars but it's a shame they seem to be getting more and more expensive and less and less focused on customer satisfaction. I waited an incredible 8 months for my pannier frames to be fabricated (partly due to factory re-location, but even so...), now i've been waiting for a week just for a reply on the stock status of their engine bars.

Such a shame as the quality of their products is sublime.

Are you waiting for a reply on the GIVI bars or was that the Touratech?

Would like to see pictures of the GIVI bars when fitted as that the route I'm probably going to take.

As for your comment on the price of Touratech, I completely agree some of their items have got ridiculous in price.

The Touratech ones, i've ordered the Givi's through fleabay from someone who's allegedly got them in stock...we'll see, i could stand for hours on my soapbox ranting about sellers that advertise and sell stuff they don't actually have themselves but just order in.

At the moment i've got Evotech bungs fitted but i want to tie in the look of the front as i've got black tube pannier frames on the rear and will maybe fit some aux lights at some point. The ones ib 1-2 has fitted look good but i see that some led units are in the pipeline from Givi around June.
