I fitted the Yam tail tidy yesterday ( pain in the backside by the way !), question is , I now have a high pitched ( mozzy like ) noise when I switch on the ignition, it's not the fuel pump priming and stays on until I start the bike or turn it off, I'm not sure if it's always been there and I just haven't heard this as I have had the seat in place and my helmet on, Any ideas ?

I think what you hear is the servo for the butterflies. If you open the throttle, don't the noise change then?

I also have the yam tail tidy and yes it is a pain to get the cover over the lock
Have you fitted the extra part or not I have not had any issues after fitting

Hi MTrider, yes the noise changes with a twist of the throttle, is this normal then ?

Jongeorge, I did fit the long extension but quickly binned it, alarm bell should have rang when I saw the electrical extension parts.
