How to tie down a Tracer

Having owned many bikes I have a good idea of how to properly tie a bike down onto a trailer or ute/pickup truck. Usually on a dirt bike I strap through both handle bars. On a bigger bike like most road bikes I strap through the triple clamps.
Recently I was thinking about driving the bike down on a trailer in order to avoid the 700km highway run that included a large stint in heavy traffic through Sydney.
How do you guys tie down the Tracer? The fairing and other parts prohibit tying down through the clamps.

I've only ever tied down across the seat on any bike.

Thanks but not interested in buying a bolt on accessory to tie it down. Surely someone here has had to tie the bike down to get it to a dealer after a fault, for freight/transport etc??? Any help at all?

Perhaps the dealers themselves may be able to answer your question? My '09 was delivered in the back of a van, strapped down well. The dealer had a specific motorcycle delivery guy on their books.
