My MT09 seems to settle with he rev counter showing two bars. thats the main bar which shows unto 1000rpm and a single smaller bar just past the arrow. I feel it is running very rich. I have an akra with baffle in and tried setting the co2 settings to 14 and zero with not much difference. Does anyone know if the idle I have is ok?

Sounds about rite to me...
They usually tick at about 1100.
How do you know that it's running too rich?

thanks i found an old thread on the forum and it confirmed all was ok. I had an MT07 last year and changed to 09 in apr this year. Just feels as though when I am stationery the engine is running to high and makes me think I am just burning fuel for the sake of it. The arrow on the dash on revs made me think perhaps I am 1 bar to high on then revs. Also when i pull the clutch in I can feel the engine a lot more than i did with the 07. Hope that makes sense. I will leave the co2 at 14 as advised by yourself mate.
