Went to start my bike yesterday and it wouldn't start, I haven't been out on it for a few weeks although I started it up a week ago and ran it for about 10 mins.
I put it on charge and went out on my other bike. I've just been trying to start it and no joy.
I've used jump leads from a car battery, used the spare key, all the lights come on as normal, no fault codes come up. the next thing is the starter solenoid, is it safe to bridge the wires to start the engine, thanks for any help.

I still would suspect the battery.
It may hold a charge but fails under load.
Have you tried putting a voltmeter across it when you're cranking the starter ?
This is where I would look first.

I just reread your post and you tried jump leads, so maybe not the battery ?
Kill switch ?
Sticking side stand switch ?

I bridged the wires on the starter solenoid and the bike started but the engine warning light is on? any ideas?

Hi. New guy here!

My SP has done the same thing. The starter solenoid is burnt out because the starter switch stuck in the 'start' position. Can hear it click but the contact isn't made for the starter current to pass through.

My bike has only done 182 miles!
