hi all new to this forum so be gentle with me oldtimer not to clever on pc:confused:just bought 2013 mt09.anyone give me any information how to fit carrier?

partially recalling a conversation with someone who'd fitted a carrier, all the relevant plastic parts around the pillion section of the seat have the areas to be removed for the rack bolts marked out on their insides.
I'm guessing that you remove the plastic, cut the holes, refit the plastic and then bolt on the carrier.

Welcome!
You did the right choice!
Keep in mind that the first models are equipped with the "agressive" map of yamaha and all the newer versions are tammed compare to old.
If suggests you to remape your ECU with the free yamaha map you can deny gently and polite.. then you'll never regret it!
In second hand MT-09 market, the customers pay more and looking for a '14 not remaped model than a remaped.
So you have 2 options...
1) let it as is
2) S-tech and Richie (TT) doing the best remaping!
