Raised handguards

Top of my hands are getting a little cold and wind blown.
I saw some larger handguards on someone's bike and had a think.

I cut some rubber ( wagon inner tube) and shaped it to look good then squeezed between inner and outer of the handguards. It looked rather good so I loosened the nuts and bolts and taped it there with waterproof double sided tape.

Works OK as well!

No they don't act like sails but they divert the wind enough. Since fitting them I've not noticed the wind.

And to put you right Dee, because I've been a wagon driver for so long and restricted to 56 mph, I get frightened above 56, not 50mph.
