Hi all
Has anyone done or have any ideas how to improve the rear side/running light/back light on the Tracer? It seems a tad small and wonder just how effective it really is? I know they are LED lights but the side light/rear lights are so small just how effective they actually are? When the brake light goes on that’s plain to see but wondered if anyone has ‘improved’ the lighting to make you more visible from behind. I have put 2 reflectors on the panniers for better visibility from car lights which I hope has helped but do often wonder just how good the standard rear lights are.....

Not really. I don't think the rear light is a problem.

Have seen MT09s/Tracers on the road and seem fine, the rear is lit and the brake lights stand out nicely when applied as they look very different by filling the entire area so easy to pick up on.

Would be simply enough to wire in some red LED's on the rear though if you feel you need more light, but generally on bikes it's people not seeing them from the front that is the danger, rather than the rear.

Which Tracer do you have? does it have the latter LED indicators?
