Size of our handlebar for lever crash guard

I'm looking ard in ebay where I found different size of lever crash guard

Is 7/8 the correct size for our mt-09 handlebar.? Or can someone enlighten me which is the size one to use.

7/8 sounds rite. The internal is 13mm

hold up!!

Depends where, the bars are tapered. So if your clamp lands just after the controls it will be the 7/8 size clamp. If it lands on or after the bar bend its going to be the 1, 1/8 size clamp !

Depends where, the bars are tapered. So if your clamp lands just after the controls it will be the 7/8 size clamp. If it lands on or after the bar bend its going to be the 1, 1/8 size clamp !
True. I was talking more about the grip internal down to the first bend

Yeah, now I'm confused. LOL. I presumed Handguards, but it could be a MOTO GP style thing, which would go in the bar end.

Hold up?!?! I have alr placed my order man. Lol... I'm asking abt the moto gp lever guard install at the bar end.

Well if it comes with a rubber bit that expands inside the bar end I believe it's 13mm. I know it's NOT 18mm coz that's wot I was sent when I ordered some bar end mirrors an the rubber was way too big and didn't even fit inside.

As the bars are tapered, the external diameter of the middle of the bars is 30mm.
Where there get slimmer near the hand grips and mirrors they are 22mm external diameter,
Obviously at some point where they tapet they are between the two!
