Had my MT since April, always had sports bikes previously, but getting too old for the riding position now. The Mt ticked all my boxes when announced so far impressed with the motor and looks, but the suspension is a bit Iffy... I am looking at fitting a ZX6R rear shock and some Maxton fork inserts to tame the beast. Hopefully this will make the bike handle better. I am going to take it in for the remap the snatchy throttle is a bit tedious around town. Apart from that I love the bike millions..................it can only get better

Hi and welcome. I have found the suspension gets better the more miles are put on. Have you read the suspension threads on here, they do make a difference?
Obviously if your willing to spend money, a fork suspension specialist would work wonders.

Hi triple trouble, I am based on the Wirral about 5 miles from Liverpool, and 5 from North Wales which is my biking playground and a good test fro the EMT, previous bikes include FZR 600, FZR 1000 Exup, Early Blade, CBR600's x 3, R6 which I killed it at festiniog (wet leaves and fast bends don't work) did a bit of motoX liked the riding position so I was looking for a super moto, decided to go retro with grunt the EMT ticked all the boxes. The suspension is disappointing I took him to the TT but my fun was restricted due to the handling. I just bought a rear shock from a 2008 ZX10 which I am going to fit soon and I am going to try 10W fork oil i believe this will help.I will feedback the results when i have done the changes.
