I have had my tracer since april and covered 3000 miles now, the fuel average on the instruments constantly reads between 62 and 63 mpg, I have just returned from a touring holiday around wales and had three tankfuls at 67 mpg, I think this is amazing, I don't ride very hard and tend to short shift the gears, even so this is an impressively frugal bike.

I get between 52 and 60 mpg, I don't do any commuting, always on rides out. I am very impressed, I have never had a bike do better than 42 mpg for years.

The worst I had was my RD350 YPVS doing 26mpg on one ride!

I get between 55 and 65, even after I reset the avg fuel consumption it soon works it's way back up there. I feel like I ride quite vigourously too so am very pleased esp as it's primary use is for commuting.

I have the MT09, now done nearly 12000 miles, and I get around 50-54 mpg. Even riding hard it still returns 48 mpg
I travel into London and back to Essex 5 days a week, done 4400 miles and get 52-58 and i ride hard at times. Once on a trip to the Kent coast i got 70mpg taking easy 55-65mph. Amazing!!

My 2013 MT-09 usually shows mid 50s on the computer but as I have used the fully app on my mobile since day 1 with this bike, I know the bike computer lies, usually over by 10%

So if the bike computer says 56mpg average the true figure will be 50-51 but it's still amazing considering how much fun the bike is.

Mon Dieu!!

Ran out on a French motorway after 172 fast miles full loaded into a strong head wind. Resulted in the most expensive can of fuel ever!! But still made the ferry.
I get 11 miles per litre on fast A and twisty B roads that around 50 mpg.
I reckon the dash readout has the same overstatement as the speedo, about 7%. Still getting loads of smiles per mile!!!

Stay rubber side down!
