This is my first post in here. Have so far been reading a lot MT/FZ 09 related threads via Tapatalk without actually knowing which forum I was reading. I’m from Denmark and bought a used 2014 MT-09 in 2015.
A few days ago I read a thread in the fz09.org forum which caught my attention. It was about a guy who exchanged his FZ-09 clutch with a XSR900 slipper clutch. Roughly 20 parts should be changed. I am considering doing the same. However I want to buy the parts inside EU (+UK) to avoid tax and fees. And here is my problem. I am not able to find the parts at a price that just comes close to over there. Example:
Part: Boss, clutch part# B90163710000
Partshark (USA) - 67 $
MSP (EU) – 203 €
That’s insane. It’s almost 4 times the price. I also asked my local Yamaha dealer and he was even more expensive. So my question is where do you buy your parts? Do you know where to look for prices comparable to US prices?
