As you can see, while the two bikes share much of their chassis measurements (remember, the FZ-09 uses an all-new frame and suspension components), the FZ-09 has less trail, shortening the wheelbase. This should lead to faster, more responsive steering. Lighter wheels also reduce unsprung weight, improving everything from acceleration and braking to ride and handling.

I need this bike so much, if it don't fit me I will be devastated I am 6'4" tall and 110kg, this is the style of bike I love, bike history dt100/175 ts 185/250 yam tdr250 Suzuki drz400sm. at the moment I have a vanvan 125 and r1200gs beemer the upright riding position of the GS is no good at all on your my lower back. I need a set up were more weight is forward on my wrists, not sportbike extreme but more like the bmw f800s that I had for two years. I know we have all got to wait but would welcome any views?

Nice picture and mini-guide on the details of the motorcycle!
I definitely gained some insight on both the FZ-09 and FZ8. :D
