morning lads. just a quick update on zx6r rear shock fitted about 3 weeks ago.have done about 300 miles now on shock and have noticed a rubbing mark on the inside of the clutch casing where the remote is rubbing. not much but needs to be sorted. would recommend if fitting zx6r shock before you fit it take a file to shock casing around by the valve, does not need much but will stop you having trouble in future. Still a brilliant shock and worth the trouble.

Hi, I have just got a ZX6R shock off a forum member, was going to fit next week, have you got a picture or two of where to take the file to?

hy rob, cannot get a picture but if you just run a file around the end of the reservoir by the valve cap does not need a lot taken of. when you put shock in with top bolt on you can check where the shock is very close to inner clutch casing.hope this helps

did look at a video of someone putting the reservoir up but noticed that you had to do a lot of cutting and was not sure that you could get to the compression adjuster. was thinking of one day will need to sell bike and need to put it back to standard.
