I've managed to almost wear through my rear brake hose presumably with my boot somehow so I guess now is the time to switch to braided versions.

Any particular brand noticeably better or worse than the others? Bike is a 2014 without ABS.

Also I guess the twin front lines would be better than the over the mud guard setup as ive read they bleed better/easier.

Thanks boys, just had a look on the Goodrich site and it seems they don't do the twin line front setup for the MT for some reason, I'll go check out Venhill and Hel.

I haven't had brake lines done by them but have had cables, they have a good reputation

I assume the Venhill and Hel 2 hose front kits must have a splitter somewhere as the OEM master cylinder only has one connection?

One hose from master cylinder down to the R/H brake caliper then a hose up over mudguard to the L/H caliper. Both Venhill and Hel offer a 2 hose front kit off the shelf for the MT09 so I assume it must split the hose somewhere.

Can't do this:

So surely Hel and Venhill '2 hose kits' must be this?:

Can anyone with either of these two off the shelf kits confirm how they are set up?

Think I've got my answer, pretty sure they are setup like this:

Looks like they include a double length bolt for the master cylinder that allows you to fit both hoses to it.

The 2 hose version as an extra long banjo bolt from the master cylinder

Yeah I figured that out in the end, I've ordered the Hel "Race fitment" front and rear kit for £98
