Well sorry to say I just couldn't get on with the MT09 anymore, I brought a 64 plate with 847 miles on the clock on the 2/6/15 from a local bike shop in very standard trim, that standard the previous owner had left the sticker on the tank and the suspension was still set in bouncy castle mode...
I wouldn't visit the stealers, they would suck the blood from a gnats arse.
DIY everytime, then your oil you will know what's coming out and you will know what's going back in, you will know it's done right and no oil boy has had hands his on your pipes..
Yes felt so small compared to the Triumph and before that I had a YZF1000 so I like bigger bikes, but getting used to this one now, it's a nice bike and the engine feels strong.

Well thanks for input, I did the deal, I road my 2011 Triumph 1050 Speed (7500 miles) with loud mivv exhaust to the bike shop, traded it in and rode the standard MT away...... First impression was how small it felt, I think that was to do more with the smaller offset clocks and barely...
