Barkbuster BBZ-01 doesn't fit (but we solve that)

The Barkbuster selection guide shows the BBZ as suitable for the MT. It doesn't fit as the end weight is solid. If you are happy to put the weight in the lathe and drill and tap an M8 hole then it fits. I adopted another approach.

Thats some serious hand guards, !!

Is that a piece of brass then? Threaded on the outside so it screws into the bar end, and tapped in the centre for the allen bolt? nice !

The brass bit is just a spacer. The M16x1.5 bolt screws in to the bars.

A humorous part of the proceedings was when dad gave me an M8 tap to put the thread in the cap head bolt. It was from ALDI! It didn't hold up.I had to go and get a Sutton one from the tool shop.
