both the chain tension & clutch cable adjustment are set correctly, it is a metallic sound which is heard over the wind & exhaust noise.

Check the oil level... as new it may has the mineral oil for break-in period... if it's OK wait for the first service at 600 miles and notice your mechanic about the noise.
When i'm downshifting i usually use some throtle for smooth and sweet gear changes.
Or try to shift faster... sometimes the problem is the rider's slow shifting procedure..
