I hate xmas

anyone else hate it, crap tv, i hate turkey and xmas pudding , weather is always shit, its dark most of the time and there is no motorsport on tv.

You Grinch! Its great, no work, lie ins, lots of food & drink, spending time with your family, and no doubt I will get a motorbike DVD or watch something bike related on BT sport.
Also, weather great here today, roads are dry, about 12 degrees!

Yes I know where you are coming from but on boxing day me and a few mates are having a day out on the enduro bikes and the out to the pub on the night so we still get our bike fix in the winter,,,, keeps me sane over the winter

I'm conflicted. I hate xmas time, but it is also the time that I get my longest break from work. I love the 6 weeks off I get, I just wish xmas wasn't in their with it. I guess I don't really hate xmas as such, just what rampart commercialism has turned xmas into.

It also makes going for a ride or drive difficult. There are cops and camera's everywhere. I drove down to Port Stephens last year to see my Mum. I was super careful about the speed limits, but still managed to get a camera fine.

Otherwise it is a good time off week and a bit for me, and time to do some jobs around house etc. I think if I worked in retail etc I would hate it full stop!

Yes, that just tops it off Great weather, time off work. Roads are carparks full of caravans, and cops and speed camera's are everywhere, and we have double demerit points. Any ride anywhere and you better make sure you don't speed, and are using all the correctly identified gear. Some states seem to have taken up a campaign against riders with helmets that don't meet legislative requirements, i.e. fitted with dark visors, blue tooth communication pods.

But the weather is pretty good. It is mid 30's very humid, but with my vented jacket the riding is reasonably comfortable when moving.

Took mine a run in the salt xmas day evening to c cold 4degrees Largs!!. It was positively balmy with all my thermals on the heated grips up to 100% and thick gloves with hand guards. Loved it!
Bikes a frickin mess tho

Apple have had some bad press recently as well, do you work in west quay then as no apple in poole or Bournemouth ?
