I carried out some upgrades yesterday while I was giving the bike a service, and decided to swop out the current disks and pads for Brembo all round with the bigger 320mm disks on the front.

I went with SC pads in the front with SP in the rear, and put them on with new titanium bolts, doing the sprocket and rear axle too... must have saved about 1.3 grams doing that!! Lol

A picture to show the difference in fronts

And how they look on the wheel

All bedding in nicely so far...

I've always found the standard front brake very snatchy. Do you think the Brembos are more progrerssive?

Are you sure it's just not the type of brake pads that are fitted causing braking issues

I’ve never found the brakes snatchy at all I’m afraid.

I do clean the calipers every month and rebuild them / change the fluid every 2 years.

I was running EBC sintered pads with standard disks all round before this change if that helps you out...

Finally got around to making a small update on the brakes...

not huge, but must be worth at least 356bhp of improvement...

WOW those discs are beautiful!
Looking forward to hearing about there effectiveness.

You say the dia. of the disc does not effect the position the caliper is mounted?
