Hi - I have a new MT09 (in grey - the fastest colour lol) but I am having a problem with the clutch lever being too far away .....

I am thinking of getting some after market levers but want to know if the bend in them would bring the lever closer to bar ?? if they dont then no real point in getting them ?? Also has anybody any suggestions for lever's ??

Get a set of adjustable levers. They don't necessarily have to be the expensive items. I do know that ASV and Pazzo will cope with the span as would the the Gilles offering. You'll get some solid advice from those on here that bought the Chinese aftermarket products.

I got a set of the £23.00 ones off Flee Bay fitted a treat do exactly what I wanted, bringing the levers closer with adjust-ability.

Just take your time and make sure the pin in the front brake lever is a loose fit in the hole in the lever.

Good luck

Legs, you are mistaken, grey is the undercoat for Deep Armor, the real fastest colour :)

I've got the yammie gilles levers. Adjustable and lovely to use, real quality feel.

I got Evotech pair of levers for £110, way more better and precision made than Chinese copies I have had before but not to pricy as branded ones.
Oh yea orange goes the fastest by the way!!

I got cheapies from china. The adjustability makes them perfect.
IMHO I don't see any difference between them and the spazzos they copied, except for the hundred odd quid I saved.

Matt grey is the fastest. I phoned Yamaha in Japan and they told me so

... I went for the FP racing shorties ...
Nice ... look like my Pazzo's. The short style suits these small bikes.
