can't find the pictures now, but the only issue is the actuator rod between the foot gear pedal and the gear lever arm. When you rotate the arm around to reverse the gearing, the rod catches on the upper rear set bracket. I think some people even just bent the rod to get around it lol.
There is a YouTube video of this on someone's fz-09 - shogunr1 or something similar is the channel. They cut parts of the rear sets to allow the shifter rod to fit through, looks like it works OK if you've got the tools to cut?
