Yamaha High Screen

Hi Folks,

Just bought the Yamaha high screen and all I can say is that it works for me, a lot less buffeting, noise etc than standard and better than the MRA touring one IMHO as well.

What I'm asking is has anyone else who has fitted it got two little black brackets with mounting screws and washers in the package along with the strengthened screen stay?

I've got these (brackety box was sealed and never been opened) and just can't for the life of me figure out where they are supposed to go or to what purpose!

Bloody screens!
There just isn't a one screen fits all option.
I got the tall screen as an option when I bought my Tracer. It was fitted when I picked it up.
Was awful. Put the standard one back on which was a minor improvement.
If I ducked behind the tall screen, I got no noise and no buffeting, but a sore back and neck.

No idea what the extra bracket and bits were for.
I matched the bracket up with the original and couldn't see any difference apart from colour.
Shame you spent good money on the tall screen. Could have had mine. It's no use to me now

oh...and I couldn't help but notice that my Yamaha dealer stopped having the tall screen on their demo bike.
I did wonder if that was due to negative feedback
